Our
standards are the best in the sports framing industry. As a member of the Professional Picture Framers Association, we deliver the highest
value industry standards to
our clients on a daily basis.
We use the same methods and materials used by certified
professional custom picture framers throughout
North America.
The standards
below are for the mechanics of picture
framing, products used, and services offered. They
include, but are not limited to, the frame, matting,
mounting, glazing, and fitting. All materials and
procedures performed shall meet those set forth herein,
or, if not set forth herein, be generally considered
safe for the item or artwork.

|
Workmanship
-
Each picture will be
accurately measured and the dimensions recorded in current framing
terms.

We
do not use
materials or techniques to perform services that are
unfamiliar in the framing industry. We use many of the
techniques recommended by the Canadian
Conservation Institute and
Professional Picture Framing Association.

We
provide the best product and services for whatever type of
framing styles, materials, and procedures.

We will make every attempt
to provide the consumer, through online services, with the knowledge concerning the
concept, the construction, the materials, and the techniques used
for products offered.

Frame
-
The frame shall be sized
to allow for normal expansion and contraction of its contents.
-
The back of the frame
shall be closed with a non-invasive material to reduce dust
contamination and pest invasion.

The frame shall be of
sufficient dimensions to hold the artwork and mat package without
bowing or bending.
-
Edges will be cut square
and clean.

Matboard
|
|
Glazing (Glass)
-
Glass will be supplied by Tru
Vue.
-
One of two series
may be selected;
Premium or Conservation (UV protection).
-
Glass
may be selected from the following options:
clear, low reflection, or
anti-reflective.

Adhesive
-
Any
adhesive used shall not soften or run under normal environmental
conditions and use.

Any
adhesive used shall not cause the product to become transparent, or
alter the color of the board.

Attachment to Artwork and Items
|
|
Hanging
-
The
attachment of the wire will be such that the frame can be hung from
2 hangers. This procedure significantly reduces the hanging
force and ensures the frame will hang level.

All hanging
methods and attachments will be designed to place minimum stress on
the frame.
-
Framing
which employs wire or cord for hanging should use two wall hooks.

The
frame shall be equipped with a method of spacing it out from the
wall a minimum of 2.5 mm. This space provides a free airflow behind
the framed artwork and reduces the potential for mold growth,
condensation, insects infestation, and dust collection.

Inspection
-
It is the responsibility of the
consumer to examine the shipment
of the product, and determine whether it complies with the
above-suggested requirements.

It
is the responsibility of the consumer to report any damages to the
shipping company and Global Sports Memorabilia within 2 business
days of
delivery.
|
Packaging
-
The product
will be packaged securely for transit, and the
packages will have proper identification marks.

Each
framed piece is wrapped in 1/2 inch bubble wrap and individually boxed for
shipment. Champion Player Series is bulk wrapped.
